Over the past 10 years, God has taken us on an amazing roller-coaster ride. Great is Thy faithfulness! We are “peacefully excited about God’s plans”.
After all the excitement and joy and being around all the precious children we serve and maybe even times of loneliness and sorrow, our prayer to Father was to draw us closer to Him to help us find our way. How faithful He was to do more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine.
During this journey of Kingdom Expansion, full of excitement, joy and sometimes storms, the sun was always shining upon Transforming Kids ministry, the wind was blowing and the waves were crashing into our souls. God spoke to the team’s hearts that sometimes we need to entertain the thought of our worst fears and excitement, in order to fully surrender them all to him.
To truly allow Christ to reign in our lives, we must come to a complete surrender to His plans. Even if it means suffering. Each one of us had our own personal struggles whether it was finance, health issues, uncertainties about the future and even spiritual attacks.
While we were all walking on the water with Jesus, we ponder about the word “hope”. The meaning of hope is “to expect with confidence or to cherish a desire with anticipation”. Our hope was that God will be good to us. We hoped with all our hearts that His plans for us would be good and that He did not desire to hurt us. Indeed our souls hoped that God would be so abundantly good to us and delight our souls with shouts of joy!
Having faith in God is having confidence that God desires to be good to you. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). We realised there is power in our words. But more importantly there is unleashing power in our thoughts. Who is God for us?
We can have what we believe. The most powerful source we had against the storm was to believe that God is good. Know that He wants good things for you. As you believe in your heart in the goodness of God, you will begin to walk on top of every situation. The world will become a giant playground where you will come to experience the intentional love of God in every moment. He will delight to answer your prayers because you trust in Him. Because what you think about God changes everything!
Yes, He came through for us in a very exciting way, He changed everything – He made us peacefully excited about His plans – Great is Thy faithfulness!
May the God of all hope fill you with all joy and peace in BELIEVING, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in HOPE!
